We’ll collect you from your hotel and we’ll drive directly to Pena Palace.
The Pena Palace is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of Portugal. This national monument constitutes one of the major expressions of 19-th century Romanticism in the world. The palace stands on the top of the hill above the town of Sintra and on a clear day it can be easily seen from Lisbon.
You will visit the interior of the palace with it’s extravagant decoration and numerous royal collections. You’ll have the opportunity to enjoy the amazing views from the rooftop cafe and terraces. You’ll also discover an exotic taste of the Pena Park, site of the most diverse and unique combination of tree species on the European continent.
We will drive down to the Sintra village.You’ll have a free
time in historical center for
shopping, try the local pastry (queijada and travesseiro), take pictures of the
thousand-year-old National Palace or just enjoy a walk in the narrow Sintra’s
streets.
Before we leave the historic center we'll pass by Lawrence’s Hotel, the oldest hotel in the Iberian Peninsula.
We’ll also pass by Quinta da Regaleira, Seteais and Monserrate palaces and continuing to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point in continental Europe. The Cabo da Roca cliffs are 140m height and offers an amazing view of the wild coastline. After we’ll drive down, always by the coast. We’ll stop for a photo shoot in Guincho beach before arriving to Cascais village.
We’ll stop in Cascais Bay before return to Lisbon and drop
you off at your hotel.
